30-Day Confidence Reset
One short email a day for a month. Each one takes about a minute to read and ends with one small thing to do, so ordinary days start to feel like yours again.
Opening
You used to know what you liked. You used to answer a message without reading it four times and asking two friends what it meant.
Then somewhere along the way you got very good at being easy to love and forgot to check in with yourself. The good feeling from a video lasts until about Wednesday.
The Reset is 30 days of small, doable things that point you back toward that version of you.
Who it's for
It's for you if you've lost track of yourself a bit, after a relationship or after a long run of ordinary days. You'd like to trust your own judgment again. You're tired of waiting for someone else to make you feel chosen. You can spare a minute to read and a few more to do one small thing.
It isn't for you if you want scripts for what to text someone, a plan to get a person back, or a program with streaks and check-ins. If things feel really heavy right now, a professional or someone you trust will help more than an email can.
How it works
Buy it and Day 1 arrives in your inbox right away. Days 2 to 30 follow, one email a day. That's 30 emails in all.
Each email takes about a minute to read and ends with one small thing to do that day. Most take a few minutes. A couple ask for a little more, like twenty minutes on your own on Day 19. None of them cost money.
A few days ask you to write a line down. The notes app on your phone is enough.
Miss a day and the next email still shows up. Read two at once or leave one for the weekend. Nobody's keeping score, and you never have to start over.
What's inside
Four weeks, each with its own focus.
Week 1: coming back to yourself
Seven days of noticing how you actually feel. When "fine" comes out, you'll find the word underneath it. You'll make one small choice based only on what you want, and after the conversations that matter you'll ask one quiet question: lighter or heavier? You'll write down one thing the old you did without thinking twice, then do a small piece of it. On Day 7 you write one line about what surprised you most.
Week 2: trusting your own judgment
Small calls, made on your own. You'll make your own call before you ask anyone else, and take a minute before you say yes. When a message makes you pause, you'll read it once, decide what it most likely means, and put the phone face down for twenty minutes. On Day 12 you start a note called "called it" with times your gut was right. By Day 14 you make the small decision you've been putting off, and let it stand.
Week 3: feeling chosen without waiting to be chosen
A week of doing for yourself what you've been waiting for someone else to do. Wear the nice shirt to the grocery store. When you want to check whether they've been online, set a ten-minute timer first. Let one goofy piece of you out on purpose, and swap one "sorry" for a "thanks." You'll spend twenty minutes enjoying your own company and write one sentence that starts "Loved well looks like..."
Week 4: keeping it on ordinary days
A plan for boring days and off days. You'll attach one tiny habit to something you already do, and after a rough day write down one thing that went okay. You'll tell an awkward moment as the funny version, mute one account that makes you feel smaller, and ask for one small thing in one clear sentence. On Day 28 you write the act that stuck on a sticky note. On Day 29 you look back at your "called it" note and your loved-well sentence. Day 30 is about keeping it going once the emails stop.
Part of the real Day 12 email:
Subject: Proof you've been right before
When you doubt your judgment, your brain plays back every time you got it wrong. It conveniently skips the rest.
Today, open the notes app and start a note called "called it." Add two times your gut turned out to be right, big or tiny.
What it costs
$47 for all 30 emails. You pay once, with no subscription.
That's about $1.57 a day. Day 1 lands in your inbox as soon as you check out.
If it isn't for you, email hello@themrcountry.com within 14 days of buying and you'll get a full refund, no questions asked.
Questions
Is it text messages?
No, it's email. Each one is short enough to read like a text, about a minute at most. It comes from hello@mail.themrcountry.com.
What happens if you miss a day?
The emails keep coming either way. Catch up when you can, or skip one. The month still works if a few days slide.
Is this about getting an ex back, or fixing a relationship?
No. Nothing in the 30 days is about winning someone back or what to say to a partner. Everything is about how you feel and what you do, whoever is or isn't in your life.
Does it work if you're in a relationship?
Yes. Being single or taken doesn't matter here. Plenty of people lose track of themselves inside a relationship that's going fine.
How is this different from the free journal?
The free journal is one week of writing about where you are. The Reset is a month, arrives by email, and gives you something to do every day on top of something to notice.
How is it different from The Overthinking Journal?
The Overthinking Journal ($17) has 30 writing prompts about the thing you keep replaying, so it looks back. The Reset is about what you do today. You can do both, and neither needs the other.
Will this make you confident?
No one can honestly promise that, and this page won't. What you get is 30 days of one small act at a time. What you make of it depends on you and on what your month is like.
Is it therapy?
No. It's everyday encouragement from @the_mr_country and doesn't replace professional help. If things feel heavy, talk to someone you trust or a professional.
Do you have to reply or join anything?
No. There is nothing to reply to and no group or call to join. You read the email and do the small thing.
Is $47 worth it?
It's worth it if you'd open an email every morning and actually do something small with it. If you already have a daily habit that keeps you feeling like yourself, keep that and save the money.
