Who it's for

You got a one-word answer and spent the evening decoding the period at the end. Or a friend went quiet, or a breakup from last spring still plays at 1am. Your head keeps running it because it feels like you're getting somewhere. You're mostly getting tired.

This journal is for anyone who knows that loop. It works on a text, a silence, an argument, or a whole relationship, and it doesn't care who the other person is.

What's inside

A 23-page PDF by @the_mr_country. Print it, or write on it in a notes or PDF app on a tablet.

Two short intro pages, then 30 prompts in four parts, two prompts a page, each with a one-line note and lined space to write.

A closing page sends you back to compare prompt 1 with prompt 30.

Pick one situation and take it all the way through. Two prompts a day takes about two weeks, or you can do all 30 in one long weekend.

One prompt from Part 1, exactly as it reads in the journal:

Prompt 8. The worst ending your head writes

Replays love to finish on the worst possible version.

What's the worst-case story your head tells about this, all the way to the end?

FAQ

Q: Is this therapy? No. It's a journal for everyday overthinking. If a situation involves someone hurting or threatening you, or things feel too heavy, talk to someone you trust or a professional.

Q: Will it make the replaying stop? It gives the replay a place to go, a name, and an ending you wrote. Whether it fades, and how fast, depends on you and the situation, so there's no promise here.

Q: Is it only about relationships? No. A friend, a coworker, a family dinner, a comment from three years ago all count.

Q: Is it written for women? It's written for anyone. It never assumes who you are or who the other person is.

Q: How is it different from the free 7-day journal? The free one touches on replaying for one day. This one spends 30 prompts on it.

Q: Does it have to be printed? No. It works in any app that lets you write on a PDF, or next to a notebook.

Q: How does it arrive? By email, right after checkout. You get a personal download link. It expires after a while, so save the file once it's downloaded. If you don't see the email in a few minutes, check your promotions tab.
